Albert is a retired CEO with extensive experience in the manufacturing and refractory minerals industry. He began his career in sales within the steel production sector before transitioning into manufacturing, where he specialized in refractories and refractory minerals.

In 1997, Albert relocated to Isithebe, KwaZulu-Natal, where he spearheaded the establishment of Thukela Refractories, a fused minerals operation backed by a R200 million investment. As Managing Director, he successfully led the company until 2013 and played a key role in its acquisition by an Indian firm.

Following this transition, Albert was appointed CEO of Foskor Zirconia in Phalaborwa, Limpopo, overseeing a fused zirconia operation that exported 100% of its products to global markets. He retired in March 2022 and now looks forward to sharing his wealth of knowledge and industry insights with the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders.
