Zama Ukuphusha Uphumelele, now Zama Fashion Experts, was established in 2005 by Ismael Zacharia. From its initial offering of belts made from old leather, the company expanded into the manufacturing of shoes. Ismael’s love and passion for design motivated him to embark on a two-year study journey, obtaining his Diploma in Fashion Design.
Talented Buyisile Mbuthu joined her husband in the business, resulting in further diversification and an expanded offering which included beadwork, the design and sewing of wedding gowns, graduation gowns and traditional outfits.
