The Educational Studio (TES), founded by Dane, is a pioneering independent education institution reshaping how young people learn, think, and grow. A graduate in Pure and Applied Chemistry and holder of a Degree in Education Studies, Dane combines a deep respect for academic rigour with a passion for transformative education.

Raised in Buffelsdale, Dane and his siblings learned early that perseverance and hard work were the keys to breaking the cycle of poverty. This personal journey became his driving force to empower others through learning. After graduating, he founded his first tutoring business, working closely with KwaDukuza youth – an experience that inspired the creation of TES.

Today, TES offers CAPS, Cambridge, GED, and customized learning pathways for students who need an education model as dynamic as they are. From high-performing young athletes seeking flexible schooling schedules to learners who thrive in smaller, more personalized environments, TES meets every student where they are – academically and emotionally.
