Green Mile Multi Enterprise is a small recycling company based in Mandeni, although it also operates in neighbouring towns. The company recycles everything reclaimable, but focuses mainly on plastic recyclables (PET, HDPE, PVC, LDPE, PP etc). The company collects from households, malls, dumpsites, taverns, factories, and tuckshops, and also buys from other plastic collectors. Prior to selling to buyers, the material is sorted, washed, cleaned and packaged according to grade, colour and type. Buyers include DFM, Mandeni Waste Recyclers, Impact, Snobho Plastics, Daily Recyclers and Reclamation Group. The company’s vision is to keep the environment clean and green, whilst creating direct and indirect employment opportunities.
