Lettie Zodwa Mthembu is a self- motivated, inspirational women with big ambitions. Her aim is to attract development into her area. In the past few years she has impacted the community in several ways, for example the establishment of an agricultural program which was a way of empowering women and men in her area.

In 2013 Lettie opened her shop, called BM Amandla Emicabango which translates into Power of Thoughts. The main thought behind the shop was to reduce commuting distances, for shopping purposes, for her community. BM Amandla sells branded goods and lives by its ethos of respect for its customers.

Lettie’s dream is to expand her business to include a bigger variety of products, and wants to become a point of collection of grants for the elderly.
